Hunch Media is a London based independent production company specialising in factual, true crime, non-scripted factual entertainment and entertainment programmes.

The company was founded in the spring of 2018, when it rebranded from its former name: Thumbs Up Productions. 

​

Thumbs Up was formed in 2004 as a cooperative of freelance producers and directors who had previously worked together for broadcasters including BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5.

​

Within its first 12 months Thumbs Up secured commissions for Celebrity Snappers, Ultimate Guinness World Records, Cilla Live, and Britain's Next Top Model.
